There will be a new FLS race in 2009, Sugar Land Bunny Hop, on Sunday, April 5, one week before Easter.
 
Same courses and format as Turkey Trot.
 
8am Kids Mile, ages 1-12.
8:30am 5-Mile tag-timed Race.
9:05am 2.8-Mile Family Walk, with strollers.

Just and FYI,
 
If you are riding out in Fulshear on 1093 to Simonton and back they have changed the lanes around, and have added a middle turning lane around the Fulbrook area and narrowed the shoulder.  The shoulder appears to be about 2' wide at the most through this section.   
 
This narrow shoulder section also crosses Bessies Creek bridge.

Enjoy your ride. We had a lot of our members run this past Sunday.  Anngela qualified for Boston with a 13 minute PR and a 3:33.

Has anybody seen this story.  One of my friends just sent it to me and I think it is crazy!!!  Why cheat????  To me that completely defeats the purpose.  How could you look at others in the eye when you know you cheated!!!!
